Product Management / Global Technical Sales Support
Product Management drives Vestas' Product Strategy making sure that Vestas always has the right competitive product offerings to stay ahead of competitors. Product Management has a global reach into our sales regions, including responsibility for technical sales and bid management, Wind & Site Engineering, and Balance of Plant and SCADA Engineering. In everything we do we have a commercial and customer oriented approach.

Global Technical Sales Support is a dedicated central function based in Aarhus. Our role is to support the global Technical Sales Management organization with fast track product customization, technical contract review, and optimization of tools and processes.

Your two key objectives will be to secure the support from central Product Management and R&D functions to the regional Balance of Plant and SCADA teams and drive the collaboration, alignment and best practice sharing between the regional teams.

You will get full responsibility for driving you functional area.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitate strong collaboration between the regional teams and various central and global functions
  • Secure/prioritize support from central functions to regional teams - e.g. by initiating development of new solutions, tools and processes to increase efficiency and quality of work
  • Drive alignment across markets and regions - e.g. on use of contract templates; how to address Grid Operators in connection with grid code updates; etc.
  • Create and lead a Global Electrical Engineering Specialist Community
  • Assist regional teams in solving challenges in connection with complex sales projects
  • Support the collection of global requirements (grid, cyber security, etc.)
  • Support the market introduction of new products and product features (e.g. facilitate training of regional teams)

  • You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • You have at least 5 years of experience with electrical balance of plant engineering for wind power plants
  • You have some experience with managing stakeholders across multiple functions - e.g. as project manager
  • You possess excellent communication skills
  • You speak and write English fluently
  • Understanding of a wind OEM's product portfolio, business model, business drivers, and value chain is an advantage
