Provide increased support and efficiency for the operations group through product integrity, customer service, and commercial driven demands for the underground storage facilities and terminals.
Our organization is seeking an Operations Technician to be a part of our Conway, Kansas team. The primary role of the Operations Technician I is to safely perform operational tasks involved in the delivery and receipt of product to our from storage caverns to pipelines, truck terminals, and rail docks.
Monitor and streamline daily truck and rail operations for compliance, customer service, efficiency and reliability
Achieve compliance and safety goals, lead a proactive safety effort
Ensure high reliability of equipment and systems
Collaborate with functional groups to improve facility performance
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
A degree in a technical field or business is desired, however equivalent work experience will be considered and weighted accordingly.
Ability to function effectively in a team environment
Ability to positively interface with fellow employees in sharing a common vision
Competent in understanding and following company safety policies, procedures, and external/internal compliance objectives
Be effective in identifying and resolving issues
Experience with energy industry asset operations
Be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and adequate PC skills
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) product characteristic and physical properties
Knowledge of underground storage, truck and rail terminal processes
Be available to work shift work, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays with limited supervision
