I am recruiting for a HR manager in Germany (20KM North of Mannheim)

The main purpose of the role will be to ensure the effective delivery of professional HR services and support employees in dedicated countries with smaller employee headcount which does not have a local HR organization. The role in more detail:

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to develop organizational strategies and implement HR activities successfully
  • Ensure that HR priorities are effectively implemented in a fast paced and global matrix environment
  • Ensure local/country specific HR related topics are managed in close cooperation with external special partners
  • Provide leadership, guidance and counsel to the functional leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change, and human capital
  • Develop an HR plan aligned with business objectives to include organizational design, succession planning, talent management, goal alignment, and communications
  • In conjunction with the regional HR team manage effectively the various day to day HR activities.

Required Skills

  • At least 7+ years experience of relevant HR policies and procedures inclusive tariff contract and works council management
  • International HR experience is welcome
  • Fluency in German and English language, every additional European language is welcome
  • Experience working in Germany and overseas.
  • Exposure to manufacturing industry and to a public corporation is preferred
  • Strong hands-on mentality
  • Experience to work with IT systems (SAP HCM, MS-Excel)
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to analyse and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes
  • Strong professional maturity and accustomed to dealing with confidential situations
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and the organization
