We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Vibration Analysis Principal Engineer in our Operating Plant Business organization with the position being located in New Stanton, PA

In this position, a Vibration Analysis Principal Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Design, Prototype, and Test digital monitoring systems in accordance with customer requirements for use in operating plants and/or AP1000 startup testing
  • Interface with other organizations to oversee the manufacture, procurement, and assembly of components and provide engineering disposition
  • Prepare system design requirements, design specifications and test procedures for monitoring systems. Be able to analyze customer data and prepare design documents.
  • Oversee the installation of equipment at customer sites and conduct startup and testing of the monitoring systems after installation
  • Support customer plant evolutions

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical design practices and industry standards
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams and wiring tables
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio
  • Self-motivator who understands and applies principles of Personal Accountability
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a team environment that crosses organizational boundaries
  • Ability and willingness to safely work in a laboratory environment, manufacturing facility, and at a nuclear power plant site
