Position Summary

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration and support of financial database applications that include but not limited to the following:
  • Data normalization, synchronization in MS SQL.
  • Effectively communicate with Project Managers and Project controls regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing. And to regularly attending project review meetings.
  • Maintain the billing folders for all projects, with all the appropriate documents, including expenses, consultant invoices, and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Continuous and regular reporting for incomplete documents to operations to keep their informed on respective unbilled.
  • Work independently with operation team
  • Provide the accounts payables team member with advice on client billing, relative to consultant invoicing and reimbursable expenses.
  • Write off any uncollectible receivables, labor or expenses, as directed by the PIC.
  • Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change order, authorize & review the transfer of expenses into and out of project-related accounts
  • Read and take note of all Contract clauses to make sure project gets delivered without any issue.
  • Review labor & non-labor booking for work related to a project.
  • Investigate project variances (billable, non-billable & GM) and submit variance reports to management
  • Report on project profitability (margin analysis) to management.
  • Investigate all project expenses not billed to customers and keep track of all non-billable charges.
  • Review and track the write off of any project-related billings that cannot be billed to or collected from customers and Close out project accounts upon project completion
  • Diploma in IT, Finance or any relevant
  • Bachelor degree is preferable
  • Knowledge of MS SQL/Oracle Query.

  • Advance level skills in Visual Basic /Net, Microsoft excel and access is desirable.
  • Expert in Crystal Reports and other BI reporting tools.
  • Knowledge in Script writing MS SQL/Oracle (Triggers, Stored Procedures, etc)
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas business related to EPC.
