Position Summary

We are hiring a Systems Engineer in our Center City Philadelphia, PA office to support our growing Traffic/ITS group. The candidate will assist our project managers on intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and Connected Vehicle (CV) projects. Growth is expected into a project management role.

Job responsibilities may include:

- Systems Engineering design tasks for transportation and connected vehicle projects.
- ITS, Electrical, fiber optic, and wireless communications design tasks.
- Support of connected vehicle pilot program development and project design elements.
• Preparation of transportation reports and plans based on project analyses and assessments.
• Coordination and attendance at project meetings with clients, public officials, engineers, planners and transportation system users.
• Project support in the delivery of technical and analytical services, including plan and specification preparation, data analysis, research, and utilizing GIS and other design software.

• Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, computer engineering or computer science required. Master's degree and Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in ITS/Connected Vehicle/Systems Engineering or research supporting connected and/or autonomous vehicle deployment required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software required with MicroStation or AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Pennsylvania and Delaware experience is preferred.
