Health and Safety Assistant x2
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading provider of clinical laboratory services, who are seeking 2 Health and Safety Assistants. Based from their offices in London you will work within a wider Health and Safety team providing support to senior H&S staff members, in addition to working closely with managers at various UK sites to advise on H&S issues.
Due to the nature of the organisation a background of managing Health and Safety within a lab/chemical environment would be desirable but not essential.
Prepare risk assessments for various equipment and activities e.g. manual handling, working at height, DSE
Undertake health, safety and environmental monitoring activities
Follow up accident investigations
Work with the facilities management team to manage issues relating to FM provision
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Experience in health and safety e.g. undertaking risk assessments
Experience in managing chemical or biological hazards would be preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
