Job Overview:

CB&I is seeking an experienced Program Manager/Director who will be responsible for leading the execution of a multi-million dollar program. This position is responsible for the overall strategic, financial, planning and operational functions of program management as well as developing strategic business objectives to achieve maximum service potential and support the business initiatives and goals of the company. The successful candidate will be involved in developing program objectives and designing innovative offerings to support the goals of the program. The role will provide leadership to staff and be the main point of contact to the client. This position will be based in CB&I's office in New Orleans, LA.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Act as primary liaison between the client, program staff and corporate management to maintain a highly collaborative and cooperative environment
  • Manage a group of related projects having high risk and complexity in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing the projects separately
  • Ensure work is performed safely, ethically, within budget, according to schedule and with exceptional quality
  • Prepare high level plans and policies providing guidance to projects for developing detailed plans
  • Operationalize program workflows and processes in accordance with program/client policies, incorporating design elements to increase efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Analyze contractual and financial performance and directs activities to improve performance
  • Develop financial and operational objectives within own area. Ensure operational plans are aligned with business objectives
  • Provide leadership, support, and actively participate in client committees and industry groups
  • Keep abreast of developments and changes within the industry and competition
  • Assume responsibility for identifying and capitalizing upon new opportunities for expanding programs and services for the program/company
  • Allocate and manage staff and resources to meet objectives and investigate and implement ways to improve operational efficiency
  • Partner with all corporate CB&I initiatives, projects, programs, regulations and requirements
  • Anticipated to lead a team of up to 20 staff
  • Manage the performance of employees through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years of experience with progressive advancement
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams
  • Executive level communication skills
  • Financial management budgeting and reporting experience
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar programs
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience with FEMA grant management, resiliency, energy efficiency, energy management, and/or sustainability
  • Professional licensing and/or certifications
