Candidate will be proficient in the use and repair of PC using Microsoft Windows 7 and have experience with MS 2008/12 as a Server Systems Administrator. Capability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment is essential.Must also be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Installs software, applies patches, manages file systems, creates users and groups, reviews log files, diagnoses and solves permissions issues, monitors performance and troubleshoots alerts from DoD, commercial, open source and local monitoring tools. Duties also include supporting the Automated Entry Control System (AECS) and its supporting systems for the base and the documenting and repair of Telecommunications plant hardware located throughout Pt Mugu, Ca. The AECS system support includes but is not limited to trouble shooting and repairing all components of the system such as door controllers, system servers and stand-alone access control systems.BS or BA degree in a Computer Science or "Relevant Technical Discipline".

At least five (5) years of experience in systems administration and analysis. Experience with Microsoft 2012 is required and possession of a CCNA certication is desired.

Baseline DoDI 8570.01M IA Certifications required. Completion of OS certification and Security + is required within six (6) months of hire date. U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain an interim and a permanent U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required.

• Normal hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm

• Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines

• Regular attendance is necessary and required

• Must be able to communicate effectively

• Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with clients, management and employees

• Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others

• Must be able to support and work in a proactive team environment

• Must hold the safety of yourself and those around you as the number one priority in the workplace

• Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance required

• Completion of required certifications required within six (6) months of hire date

• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain an interim and a permanent U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required

• Requires the ability to possess a Government CAC Card
