Execution Contract Manager for our offshore wind turbine generators Would you like to become an important part of one of the largest investment programs in Europe and help us implement our ongoing vision of supplying clean and reliable energy?
Join us as soon as possible as Contract Manager in our Wind Turbines Contract Management Execution department. As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex contracts during execution within supply and installation of wind turbines in one or more of our large-scale offshore wind projects. Together with your colleagues in the department, you will be in the front line when we execute our business strategy and pursue our ambitious targets to reduce the cost of electricity. You will join a department with more than 100 committed and highly skilled colleagues based both in Denmark and abroad. 
Wind Turbines Execution is part of Wind Power, which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe, and we are looking to expand with international activities in the US and Asia-Pacific. 
You may be based either at one of our Danish offices in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or in Skærbæk near Fredericia or alternatively at our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. 
Your key tasks will be to 
  • be responsible for managing different kinds of contracts, including large and complex contracts 
  • be responsible for contract management primarily within the wind turbines part of our offshore projects 
  • resolve contractual claims with suppliers 
  • ensure timely deliveries at the right cost and quality during the construction phase. 
Moreover, you will underpin business activities by contributing with your expertise in negotiation and contract and claims management in order to ensure that our contract management activities are based on ambitious targets, best practice and lessons learnt. 
Your qualifications and core competences include that you 
  • have a relevant cross-disciplinary background based on a bachelor's or a master's degree, preferably within economics, law or engineering 
  • have solid experience with commercial management, preferably from complex offshore construction projects 
  • have knowledge of supply contracts or construction contracts, preferably FIDIC, BIMCO or similar 
  • have excellent negotiation skills 
  • have experience with collaborating with many stakeholders from other in-house functions, such as engineering, legal, finance and QHSE as well as external stakeholders. 
As we operate in an international environment it is essential that you speak and write English fluently and that you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey your messages to your stakeholders efficiently and ensuring the best possible collaboration.
