CH2M's USFK Transformation & Re-stationing (T&R) Post Construction Services Careers - Seoul, Korea

Our USFK T&R Post Construction Services positions are an integral part of the team focused on providing technical expertise for post-construction activities that assist facility outfitting and unit movements. You must be highly proficient in English and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment with US and Republic of Korea (ROK) military organizations. Every unit / organization and their furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) will be moved from Yongsan, Seoul to Pyeontaek by ROK contracted moving companies. Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, team-focused professional; have 5 - 10 years of experience working on large DoD programs, and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally.
Our Transformation & Re-stationing (T&R) Post Construction Professionals:
  • Provide technical expertise to USFK T&R for post-construction activities that assist in the movement of FF&E and personnel from Yongsan to Pyeontaek. 
  • Identify and validate requirements for FF&E, personal property (household goods) and unit movement (MTOE and TDA) costs.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on various means to reach end state e.g. moving vs. purchasing new, transporting by rail vs. road
  • Coordinate with ROK Moving Services contractors and support USFK staff in joint meetings
  • Interface with the units/organizations and the Garrisons (Yongsan and Humphreys) to ensure that all stakeholders in the move have the most current information in regards to cost and schedule
  • Attend and support where necessary during bi-weekly Joint Stationing Review Group (JSRG) and Moving Services Joint Working Group meetings
  • Understand the operational requirements of military units to ensure a smooth transition down to USAG-Humphreys without mission degradation

Additional Information:
Must be US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance within 60 days. This position will be located in Seoul, Korea and is expected to last at least two years. Background Check, and Drug Test required

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience working on large programs.
  • Technical understanding of project floor plans, furniture/equipment specifications, and operational plans from units.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (MS Office).
  • Experience performing work on DOD Programs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Korean fluency is preferred but not required
