Job Overview:

The Piping Superintendent ensures the overall safety of piping planning and installation activities, supervision of craft personnel and coordination with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • The candidate must to be able to manage the safety of his department, schedule field activities and have knowledge on how to execute the installation and testing of pipe systems.
  • To manage material and look ahead for material shortages and be able react to them before they become an issue and impact the schedule
  • To follow through with the completion documentation from the field to system turnover
  • To maintain cost and look for cost saving ways to execute the work
  • Manage manpower to meet scheduling and keep a good productive factor in the department
  • He must be able to work well with other departments in order to make the project safe and successful
  • Must be able to understand and follow all company policy and procedure.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years relevant experience as an Instrument Superintendent in a direct hire environment
  • Capable of managing 75+ people
