About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GIS Analyst to join our Auckland based team. This is your next career step to provide technical capability to our exciting projects we have on and to support the wider Jacobs team across all our offices. You will be working with a national team to deliver innovative solutions to work on major roading, infrastructure, geothermal, power and energy projects both locally and internationally. You will develop your networks both within and externally to our business to successfully deliver and contribute to our wider teams' overall business plan and goals.

About you

For this role you will need the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Geography, Planning or Environmental Science
• Demonstrated knowledge in GIS principles and processes that have been applied across Environmental, Transport, Water and/or Power disciplines.
• Previous experience as an ESRI Platform user, mobile and web mapping and/or FME(an asset)
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work with both internal and external clients and bring an innovative approach to resolving problems.
• Ability to promote the GIS team and grow its service offerings within and externally to the company.
• Understanding of or involvement in digital engineering frameworks would be an asset
