Job Summary:

  • Provides creativity and innovation to develop graphics that convey advanced and complex technical concepts using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Translates technical information into effective visual concepts.
  • Works under limited supervision; work is reviewed for adequacy on completion.
  • May serve as lead on small projects and suggest improvements to graphic layouts using own initiative.
  • Ensures application of state-of-the-art graphic design and document formatting techniques.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & Microsoft Powerpoint a must.
  • Knowledge of CAD and BIM and basic knowledge of design and construction industry is preferred
  • Performs routine tasks using well-defined standards and procedures
  • Has moderate understanding of job aspects and understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
  • Selection and application of established and specific procedures may be required
  • Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them
  • Uses computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools
  • Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal
  • Coordinates design criteria with engineering, tooling and planning group in accordance with contractual specifications
  • Must have 2+ years prior experience creating Adobe Creative Suite presentations for Architectural/Engineering/Construction companies.
  • HS graduate or equivalent required (specialized training or education may be substituted for part of the experience)
  • Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills preferred
