The Account Manager (AM) will cover the complete Power Services enterprise portfolio of solutions for an assigned set of customer accounts within a specific territory. The AM will be responsible for achieving growth objectives in accordance with Power Services NAM "Blue Print".

Essential Responsibilities

Manage customer relationship for their accounts in their respective region across the entire Power Services portfolio in the assigned territory and own a coordinated 'one face to the customer'
•Develop account strategies at headquarter and plant level to drive penetration and growth
•Partner with the Regional Product Marketing teams to understand the customer environment at regional level
•Drive Orders, Sales and Contribution Margin (CM) growth across the entire Power Services portfolio with support from Sales Managers for Gas Turbine, Aero, Steam Turbine, Generator (covering Upgrades / OOEM, Parts and Repairs), Boiler, MYA and Digital while maintaining acceptable risk exposure.
•Develop close relationships with Strategic Account Executives (if any).
•Provide deal team leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's portfolio of solutions to serve the customer's needs while meeting GE's business goals.
•Drive discovery session data to achieve winning solutions for customers
•Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities
•Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer strategy / profile / requirements including customer asset management plans and competitor actions; share internally and use market knowledge to drive sales for the complete Power Services enterprise portfolio of solutions
•Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in


Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business or Technical Discipline field from an accredited college or university

•Minimum of 10 years experience in the Power Generation Industry
•Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management or Customer Service in the Power Generation industry

•Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, or more as required.
