In the Service department, our focus is to provide our clients with high quality and best possible production of their wind power plants. With our long standing excellent track record and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we manage our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbines while upholding to our commitment to safety standards.

  • Reporting to the Service Director, the Head of Service Sales will manage a team of sales force to sell service maintenance contracts, parts and repair, fleet optimization and wind farm intelligent big data solution, accountable for service sales revenue growth, and market sales strategy implementation.
  • Service sales management
  • Drives and monitors sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the APC service sales organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process constancy in the sales planning, and sales plan execution. As needed, coordinates activities with other functions and stakeholders in the global organization
  • Manages and improves the assignments of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
  • Grow the clients' Corporate executives' relationship and become a trusted advisor
  • Co-develops and implements go-to-market service sales strategy
  • Implements enabling technologies, directs and supports the consistent implementation of companywide initiatives
  • Parts and Repair, Fleet Optimization and Maintenance Contract Sales
  • Grow profitable business:
  • Manage the sales force to reach the sales targets, mentor sales force and lead the deal opportunity to the final stage of closure.
  • Achievement of sales revenue, gross profit margin, and strategic objectives for China service sales unit
  • Design & implement processes, and solutions to overcome the obstacles, and manage to achieve team objectives
  • Build close contacts with global service sales teams, and create a cohesive work environment
  • Work closely with WTG sales to sell new O&M service contracts
  • P&L responsibility
  • Manage the execution of contractual obligations to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage costs to realize margin targets
  • Manage account receivables to achieve cashflow targets
  • Resources Management
  • Hire, motivate and manage staff to ensure we have the right fit personnel to lead the sales cycles, and achieve the clients' utmost satisfaction
  • Maintain a professional appearance and participate in positive team effort to achieve team and company goals
  • University degree in Engineering, and/or graduate degree in Business or related discipline
  • Last 5 years consistently achieved sales revenue and gross margin targets in the same or similar industry
  • Minimum 10 year of service or industrial product sales and sales management experience with a well-established multinational company in an industry with similar challenges.
  • Proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives and possess strong analytical capability
  • Good understanding of wind power industry is desirable
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, excellent Chinese writing skills
  • Ability to achieve credibility and influence decision making executives within customer account
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills - able to manage high-level communication between Vestas and Customer
  • Self-motivated and able to work with ambiguity
  • Good at handling changes and emergencies
  • This position requires extensive domestic travel
  • Strong business acumen, influencing skills and leadership capabilities
  • Strong persuasive and negotiating capability
  • Carried sales quota, and P/L accountability
  • Successful track record in sales force management, and consultative service sales
