An Inventory Specialist is responsible for running reports for SAP transactions. Match physical inventory with SAP inventory. Check and confirm inventory, document movements, and create production orders. Perform equipment counts (most of equipment is outside). The majority of the inventory specialist duties will be completing transactions, trucks inventory, tracking in SAP, and tracking forms outside of SAP.
- Analyze sales exception forecasts, determine shortages, review and notify department staff and sales department of results utilizing SAP.
- Assist other departments in acquiring inventory to fill shortages and daily orders from other locations.
- Forecast standard inventory usage and routinely order appropriate quantities.
- Facilitate usage of slow moving and obsolete inventory.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in inventory control, customer service or production control.
