This position provides supervision and work direction to a group of 5 - 7 administrative employees (company and contract) and performs a variety of activities in support of the Pascagoula Refinery.

Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

•  Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Administrative Services group which provides information processing, communication, records management, and administrative/clerical support to various refinery groups.
•  Ensures that administrative services are provided in an efficient, timely, and high quality manner, procedures are consistent, and personnel policies are evenly administered. Provides functional guidance, coaching, and development of employees. Conducts regular coaching sessions and responsible for employees PMP sessions, focusing on achieving goals, performance agreements, and customer needs. Monitors/enforces refinery attendance guidelines and other policies.
•  Company/CHESM Representative for Sirius staffing contracts - Provides oversight, guidance, counsel, and leadership for contracts and their personnel. Address co-employment issues, work closely with vendor and Procurement on collaboration and consultation around key deliverables under terms of the contract. Process owner for requests and approvals.
•  Provides Diversity & Inclusion coordination and support for the Pascagoula Refinery- Organizes and/or conducts diversity training for new hires, new Team Leaders/Managers, and employees. Liaison between Diversity Council, Employee Networks, Refinery Leadership Team, and the People Strategy Team. Facilitates quarterly meetings between OC & employee network leaders to address any employee issues around Diversity and Inclusion.
•  Provides consultation services for Refinery employees at all levels around issues involving direct reports; Network Leaders to ensure alignment with Corporate Network guidelines and business objectives; Refinery Leadership to assist in the development of a diverse and culturally complex workforce; and the Human Resources Leadership Team to provide feedback on Diversity & Inclusion related topics.
•  Partners with other Diversity & Inclusion Coordinators to share best practices (both internal and external to Chevron).
•  People Strategy Team Coordination: Facilitates completion of People Strategy Team initiatives with the Operating Committee Facilitator on the Refinery Business Plan
•  Manages Administrative Services open position process to fill vacancies including testing, interviewing and selection of candidates.
•  Leads team Loss Prevention System efforts with stewardship and participation in observations and investigations.
•  Ensures compliance by staff with safety programs and policies.
•  Coordinates and/or performs a wide variety of analytical and general support activities. These activities span all aspects of the refinery. Examples of activities include:
•  Developing, monitoring and analyzing department operating expense budget
•  Development, preparation, dissemination, and analysis of various electronic surveys.
•  Constructs spreadsheets, project schedules, presentations, etc.
•  Corporate Emergency Management Team member and local responsibility for CEEL reporting.
•  Participates and/or facilitates the Personnel Development Committee for administrative personnel in the Refinery.
•  Works on special assignments, projects, reports, and performs other miscellaneous duties as requested by management.
•  Develops and distributes monthly Inclusion & Diversity communications to supervisors to ensure ongoing integration of I&D strategy.

Required Qualifications:
•  Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organization & Design, Psychology
•  Advanced computer proficiency- effectively able to utilize Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•  Demonstrated ability to: maintain a high level of confidentiality; adapt to changing needs and deadlines; work effectively with a diverse workforce and has strong people skills.
•  Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, often under changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:
•  1-3 years  Administrative leadership experience.
• 1-3 year experience with diversity initiatives.
