WorleyParsons' Corporate Finance team has a diverse and challenging work environment, with the global reach of a genuine multinational and corporate headquarters based in Australia. We are currently seeking to engage a Senior Analyst - Global Planning to join our Corporate Finance Global Planning team.

Based in our Melbourne office and reporting to the Controller – Global Financial Planning, you will play a leading role in forward-looking analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling and enhancing reporting functionality. You will have high visibility with Senior Management and ability to shape your career. Typical responsibilities include:
  • Annual Budget Process and consolidated analysis and reporting to Group Management and Board;
  • Quarterly Forecast Process and consolidated analysis and reporting to Group Management and Board;
  • Support for Investor Relations, including presentations for analysts and investors;
  • Support the Group Strategy and M&A teams with analysis and 3-5 year outlooks;
  • Support CEO/CFO with ad-hoc analysis;
  • Liaising with stakeholders across multiple time zones (key locations outside Australia: Houston, LA, Calgary, London, KL, Singapore)

Essential Skills and attributes:
  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Accounting or Finance or a similar discipline;
  • CA, CPA or CMA qualification;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build appropriate, constructive, and effective business relationships throughout the organization;
  • Able to take data analytics, define into commercial insights, and effectively communicate ideas and solutions to key stakeholders in reporting and presentations;
  • Strong Leadership and negotiation skills, with ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and an eye for improving efficiency in business operating processes;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills around Financial Modelling including Pivot tables and using Formulas.
Beneficial Skills and attributes:
  • Hyperion Planning (or equivalent) expertise;
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience;
  • Experience delivering in a large-scale, geographically dispersed fast-paced environment;
