We are looking to secure the services of a high-caliber Project Planning and Controls Manager. The ideal candidate would lead the Project Controls Team and activities including portfolio planning, controlling risk and change management as well as status reporting. In order to proceed with a planning & controls integrated platform based on a server solution the Planning & Controls Manager shall lead and manage the definition phase and drive this initiative accordingly. - Setting up and supervising the Project Control taskforce and delegate responsibilities to ensure all project control services are provided to the projects
- Working together with Group and Division Project Controls Manager in order to develop and implement as well as continuously improve standard processes, tools and ways of working by applying best practices to internal environment and experience
- Lead definition and implementation of a planning & controls integrated platform based on a server solution
- Supervises project control execution and performance through scheduled project reviews with project controls team, management and project managers to ensure adherence with contract
- Verifies and approves any project deviations and takes an active role in escalated customer issues determining corrective actions in order to optimize the project performance
- Ensures the portfolio of projects follows sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures as well as contract and claim methodologies
- Builds and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, consulting on revenues planning, resource planning, and other project execution issues
- Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect reports. Manages competency assessment and development of the project control staff

- Solid Project Management background required of complex EPC project required
- Experience in leading international team required
- Experience in project control of large and complex EPC projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to work in a very divers and global organization
- Experience concerning implementation of planning & controls integrated platform a strong advantage
- Fluency in English required - additional languages such as Arabic and French a plus
