ABB are recruiting for a Business Development Manager Customer Service - Key Account, who will develop a business understanding across key customer sites that will enable to growth of future customer Service Sales.

Main Accountabilities:
• Development of long term relationships with key client
• Generation of complete picture of customer buying behaviours, influences and decision making trees across multiple customer sites and departments
• Promotion of ABB Robotics Customer System service offering
• Mapping of customer behaviours towards service against ABB growth strategy of expanding business sales

ABB People:
• Build and develop appropriate relationships across all levels of ABB
• Work closely with local Customer Service and Key Account Manager to deliver a common strategy objective of profitable growth
• Develop a full picture of existing engineering support provided within the customer base through SRE's, contracted labour and site management team
• Focused account planning with marketing team, sales colleagues and local management
• Undertaking joint field visits with colleagues as necessary, in order to generate effective quotations

ABB Organisation:
• Ensure that product knowledge is maintained at the highest standard in line with the requirements and expectations of the business
• To liaise with global colleagues to determine best practise models for portfolio of offer
• Review our market offer and alignment with customer short and medium term buying behaviours

• Interface with customers at all levels, propose viable solutions during customer meetings
• Promote the sales of general ABB robotics customer service portfolio
• Develop sustainable customer relationships

• Customer focused with strong communication skills
• Self-disciplined and motivated
• Able to successfully interface with customers at all management levels
• Understanding of health and safety operating procedures
• Can demonstrate a strong knowledge of both electrical & mechanical engineering
• Flexible approach to extended/unusual working hours
• Knowledge of maintenance support and operational strategies
• Past involvement in customer support and sales role or activities

• Experience in project management
• Good knowledge of installed ABB base of robots, systems, processes and applications
• Professional experience within the manufacturing industry or robotics environment
