Key responsibilities of the Corporate Responsibility Team include:
  • Treating our Customers Fairly Statements
  • Public commitments
  • Management of our charity partnerships
  • Management of our education programmes
  • Communication of CR themes
  • UK input into Group Corporate Sustainability report
  • Horizon scanning
  • Winning new business - sustainability tender response support
Over the summer various elements of these responsibilities will need to be developed and the intention is that based on business need and student interest, the Corporate Responsibility Junior Executive will lead and see through a specific project as well as contributing to others.

  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to deliver quality and effective plans to tight deadlines at any given time.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and as a part of a team within role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pro-active and adaptable to cope with changing and challenging situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - easily develop relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Business/commercial acumen.
  • Previous experience or interest in sustainability issues.
  • Challenging the accepted ways of doing things to push things forward.
Additional information:
The programme has a duration of 10 weeks.
The role is located at Westwood, Coventry.
Due to the nature of this role a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check maybe required.
