Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Procurement Specialist - eProcurement located in Makati, Philippines through December 31, 2016.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes Ariba, Deem/Ketera and Fieldglass in performing basic reports and actions
  • Validates and approves in basic Ariba transactions (catalogue templates, new user requests, existing user updates, monetary approvals, transactable contracts and SSF requests)
  • Executes routine tasks like OPCO Admin, SOX User access review and supplier catalog requests subject to peer review.
  • Provides alternatives and technical guidance to stakeholders in order to resolve simple data initiation issues
  • Reviews Material Group Codes or Commodity Codes before loading the catalog
  • Conducts training on creating and submitting invoices in the system
  • Contributes inputs to Business Partner engagement meetings
  • Addresses BU peculiarities with supporting documentation
  • Processes Contingent Labor Management (CLM) user profile requests
  • Makes guided use of MS Office applications in preparing for team and stakeholder meetings through presentation materials and simple statistics

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy or Business Course
  • Excellent planning, analytical, people and communication skills are essential to the job
  • Candidate must be open to go on shifting schedules
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
  • High attention to details

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years' experience in Contracting and Procurement Process, eSourcing, contract administration, and eProcurement
  • Certifications in Procurement/Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledgeable with tools such as ARIBA, SAP, Deem/Ketera and Contractor Health Environment and Safety Management (CHESM)
