About the opportunity
  • Responsible in overseeing all construction works at site and to ensure project is constructed in accordance to approved drawings and specifications and in compliance with industry and safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor site progress and performance of the project according to contract, schedule, specification, quality, safety requirements, and design standards.
  • Assist Consulting Engineers in all consultancy and technical matters assigned.
  • Administering, supervising, documenting, and reporting on contractual works, progress and cost.
  • Monitor and maintain proper works program, claims, variations, progress payment and control records.
  • Supervising and execution of all technical aspects of the assigned scope of the project.
  • Assigning responsibilities to key subordinates in their respective fields of duties.
  • Attend all site and technical meetings and coordinate site issues.
  • Ensure the timely supply of information to the contractors including responses to the queries from the contractors.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including contractors and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities.
  • Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
  • Prepare monthly progress report.

About you
  • Min. 15 years of experience in infrastructure construction project, particularly bridges, elevated structures, utilities relocation, road and drainage.
  • Professional Engineer registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
  • Recognised degree in civil / structural engineering.

Area of Expertise

  • Elevated structures and bridges, civil works experience is required
