Selected individual will manage and lead a team of Inspectors and Senior Inspectors as follows:

• Assigns staff as needed to supervise the work, develop assignments for discipline work and multiple shifts.

• In conjunction with DCM/PE prepare work execution packages for Inspection staff.

• Ensures Inspectors are provided with necessary training and equipment.

• Ensures that adequate records are maintained and reviews and countersigns Inspectors shift reports.

• Interfaces and coordinates with Project Engineer, Deputy CM and Office Engineer to maintain and track various logs, reports, and field records including: Quality Issues, DR Log, Field Change, and Safety.

• Assists in reviews of shop drawings, Construction Work Plans (CWPs).

• Monitors the contractor's timely execution of work.

• Performs Safety and Environmental Surveillance and liaises with ESA Safety Engineers.

• Tracks field changes and verifies as-built compliance.

• Interface with Contractors, Superintendent, and Railroad supervisors as appropriate.

• Additional Information: This position involves contracts that are either highly technical (systems) or specialized (track, signal, electric traction power).

• BS Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.

• 15 years minimum related field experience to include: Experience in industrial, commercial construction of systems including communications, facility power and/or tunnel ventilation systems. Experience of working on or adjacent to railroad operations is preferred.

• Specialist Software Knowledge: Expedition or similar software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
