Baker Hughes currently has an opportunity for a Process Engineer to work on Elastomer Technology, within their Conventional Drilling Systems team in Celle.

  • Collaboration and support in continuous process control and product optimization.
  • Planning, conducting, carrying out, evaluating and documenting projects for process development and improvement.
  • Collaborate in the selection, introduction, approval and monitoring of new equipment and raw materials
  • Optimization and documentation of the manufacturing process.
  • Transfer of manufacturing processes to manufacturing facilities in USA - training of employees
  • Close collaboration with other departments in research and development projects.
  • Collaboration with suppliers and research facilities
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a technical or scientific area: process engineering / chemical engineering, plastic / elastomer technology or a similar subject area.
  • Experience of Chemical Engineering, plastics or elastomer technology would be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of chemicals is required
  • Knowledge of bonding technology (rubber metal) would be an advantage.
  • Experience of MS Office products
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken.
