This critical position in the PGS Engineering organization to lead & manage the closure of all engineering related customer issues related to Aerodrivative Gas Turbines, in Saudi Arabia and the MEA region. In this role, the Product Service engineer will need to address technical issues during operation & maintenance, work with stakeholders to ensure providing timely technical solution to the fleet of Aerodrivative Gas Turbines from the time the equipment is installed until it is decommissioned.

Essential Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external customer requests for technical issue resolution relating to aerodrivative gas turbine using technical product knowledge and analytical skills while adhering to sound engineering principles, standards, practices, procedures.
• Provide technical support/resolution for TM2500/LM2500, LM6000, LMS100, electric generators, lube oil systems, controls and various package auxiliaries including fuels and lube oil skids.
• Escalate issues as required acting as the liaison between the field and design engineering to drive specific technical resolution and to help engineering identify, drive corrective actions.
• Plan and provide engineering technical oversight to the Contractual Services and Field Services teams during planned outages to meet availability goals.
• Partner with the Global Services and Design Engineering teams and interface with external and internal suppliers to facilitate the logistical implementation of Fleet Program technical solutions.

• Travel to customer locations to:
1) Support customer technical review meetings and present recommendations to champion GE's committed technical solution.
2) Support unplanned/forced outages to meet availability and reliability goals.


• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years Engineering experience with proven track record in Operation/Maintenance/Installation

Desired Characteristics

• Solid Power Generation and/or Turbomachinery Experience.
• Must be willing to travel 50-70%.
• Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
• Must be willing to work off hours and weekends to support emergency issue resolution.
• Self-Starter and able to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills including the ability to influence and energize through all levels of the business.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing roles & priorities.
• Passion and drive to serve customers, with sense of urgency and responsiveness.
