This leader will be responsible for a series of programs to contemporize the warehouse and logistics processes supporting the global Power Service business. They will also provide leadership to execute integration related activities to harmonize the processes between legacy GE and Alstom parts fulfillment organization

Essential Responsibilities

The Senior IT Program Manager will:
  • Build domain expertise in the processes and systems landscape supporting the wing to wing parts fulfillment processes across legacy GE and Alstom
  • Regularly benchmark Power Services processes against global Brilliant Factory and Digital Thread programs to ensure we are maximizing the GE Store and re-use of global tools
  • Apply LEAN principles and relevant platform assessments to define 'end state' warehouse and logistics vision and define/execute a clear roadmap-by site-to achieve this target
  • Coordinate global program plans and execution among key CoEs (Process Excellence, PMx, Oracle, etc) and concurrent initiatives  (EPR deployment, Brilliant Factory, etc)
  • Champion FastWorks project methodology to consistently deliver measure benefits through iterative (agile) releases... on-time and within budget
  • Participate in annual GE operating and planning rhythms including regular executive updates, financial reviews, and operating reviews 
  • Deploy infrastructure improvements, material tracking, mobile, ERP, and enabling technology in a cost effective manner to maximize business impact
  • Implement effective process controls and KPIs to ensure process deviations are identified, measured/trapped, and re-mediated
  • Partner with the Logistics CoE (OTM / GTM) to improve performance & available, drive full adoption of the platform, and make targeted enhancements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel 15% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics

  • Considerable experience in leading IT program management delivery
  • High say-do ratio
  • Demonstrated experience with an Agile Development methodology and/or fastworks 
  • Experience with LEAN or Lean 6-sigma
  • Project leadership experience (PMM, PMP, PMBOK)
  • Consistent history of strong execution and on-time project delivery
  • Demonstrated strength in change management / Driving sustainable change
  • Demonstrated strength in influencing skills
  • Budget management, CBA analysis, and project financial management
  • SAP (or transferable Oracle) experience in warehouse management (WH, WHM, eWHM), MRP, and logistics.
  • Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Hand-on experience developing, coding, and/or configuring enterprise applications
  • ITLP / DTLP, OMLP, CAS graduate (GE internal only)
  • Problem solving skills across multiple technologies
  • Passionate about driving change/influence across functions
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, industrial services business; preferably in a warehouse or fulfillment role, but not required
  • Profiles with 'techno-functional' experience are preferred
