Project Manager - Sales Support
Construction (AU/NZ)

The key purpose of this role is to be the conduet between the Construction Team and the Sales Division during the tender phase of Wind Farm projects. You will draw upon your exstensive experience in the wind industry to provide expert cost analysis and pricing data to drive improvements in the construction of wind farms. With the position based out of our Melbourne head office, this is your opportunity to create innovation and drive change!!!

Responsibilities:
  • Review of tender documentation and provide strategy for costing and time estimates.
  • Prepare pricing of Vestas' Project Management and construction activities for wind farms.
  • Obtain pricing of civil and electrical balance of plant work, logistics and cranes.
  • Provide detailed analysis of the pricing to maintain competitiveness.
  • Liaise with project teams and subcontractors to achieve optimum project delivery schedule.
  • Assess project risk management.
  • Develop and maintain detailed pricing and estimating tools to achieve accurate pricing models and databases.
  • Review construction methodology to ensure continuous improvement in pricing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor in Commerce or Engineering (Essential).
  • Project Management or Finance qualification (Desirable).
  • Managed teams in a major infrastructure project environment.
  • Management and reporting of budgetary requirements.
  • Management of complex infrastructure contracts.
  • Negotiation with major stakeholders, both clients / contractors.
  • Experience in high pressure environment.
  • Experience in construction of Wind farms
