Jacobs, Bellevue, WA is seeking a Landscape Architect to support its practice.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment

• Ability to traverse rough terrain in all weather conditions

• Ability to write and edit succinct, coherent documents for clients using MicroSoft Office

• Ability to use MicroSoft Excel at an intermediate to expert level

• Ability to attend meetings to present landscape principles, practices, and methods in a professional and engaging manner to clients and coworkers

    Necessary Qualifications:
    • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture and
    • Licensure as a landscape architect in the state of Washington and
    • 3 to 7 years of professional experience as defined by RCW 18.96 using design to solve complex problems
    • Intermediate to Expert skills in 2D AutoCad with ability to use AutoCad Civil 3D and PhotoShop
    • Ability to write reports and contribute to team reports for environmental documentation.
    Desirable Qualifications
    • Experience in environmental restoration and/or urban design
    • Experience in marketing landscape architecture services to government clients
    • Experience in Specification writing and implementation
    • Experience in weed control and plant establishment
    • Experience with preparation of environmental documentation
    • Experience writing visual impact assessments using FHWA methodology
    • Ability to use project tracking software
    • Graphic presentation expertise
    • Expertise in the use of native plants of the Pacific Northwest
    • Certification as an Arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture
