A unique opportunity has arisen to join our new Business Process and Transformation Team as a Senior Process Improvement Analyst. The role will contribute to achieving strategically important outcomes for the Domestic business by contributing to the delivery of a large and complex programme.

Regular (weekly) travel to Durham is required.

Role description As Senior Process Improvement Analyst you will be responsible for the development of business process improvement programmes; including but not limited to the organisation and delivery of workshops, mapping process within a process hierarchy and gaining signoff validation.

You will be responsible for validating and maintaining specific E2E business processes which will range in complexity and scope; with the overall aim to provide a baseline for improvement

Examples of complexity will include:

Working with various parties to ensure the right solution is developed

Achieving change across a number of areas of the retail business

High risk situations due to constraints on one or more of the dimensions of quality, cost and time

Contractual and legal involvements with third parties

The successful candidate should be comfortable working at senior management level with an ability to prepare and present information, interpret, translate and influence decisions and outcomes at a senior management level both across the domestic business.

Skills and experience Knowledge of utilities processes including legislation, regulations, policy and procedures OR previous experience in a similar role coupled with a working knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, A3)

Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills

Sound analytical skills, capable of clearly identifying and solving problems proactively

Articulate with effective communication, written, interpersonal and presentation skills to be able to present clearly to various audiences as required

Ability to translate findings to a variety of audiences, gaining approval and turning findings into clearly defined action plans and outcomes

Competence at process mapping and process management (aris desirable)

Ability balance between both business and customers needs

Highly organised with a structured but pragmatic and, where needed, flexible approach in order to ensure deadlines are achieved

Ability to identify cost savings and minimise waste

Able to monitor progress against targets and providing updates as necessary to manage expectations

Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
