Role synopsis
The Finance Analyst ensures silent running of monthly and quarterly Management Information (MI) reporting, timely submission of reports, manages the accrual process, and facilitates the creation of cost centres as and when necessary.
The Finance Analyst manages more complex and/or a larger number of portfolios while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in the drive for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and compliance.

Key accountabilities
Support significantly larger and/or more complex entities and has a good understanding of the nature of the business and the economic environment in order to execute activities effectively

Gather, collate, analyse and validate data as necessary in order to prepare and maintain various reports and performance summaries (e.g. accrual journal, final development actual report, forecast comparison report, etc.) as and when needed.

Submit, update and review the Management Information (MI) report with the respective budget holders for the business and group reporting.

Calculate, track and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure consistency of definition, interpretation and method of calculation.

Conduct Balance Sheet Integrity (BSI) review quarterly to clear any outstanding items, inform and follow-up on any discrepancies, and perform FBW and MI reconciliation.

Facilitate and record the creation of cost centres and WBS for projects while closely monitoring project spend.

Execute timely monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, and accurate reporting in accordance with finance standards and practices.

Support the monthly MI reporting process including meeting the necessary deadlines and reporting forecasts and associated variance analysis.

Support the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of effective internal controls and processes including SOX and Due Diligence.

Liaise with senior stakeholders internally and externally as and when necessary.

Essential Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA).

Essential experience and job requirements
Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting.

Good analytical and numerical skills.
