Role synopsis
As the ampm Franchise Recruiter you will identify franchisees as well as qualify existing franchisees looking to grow. In addition, you will find financially qualified candidates and person with the right commitment to our brand and the time and expense of supporting our concept.

This role may be field based in California.

Key accountabilities
  • Make contact with several key groups that can provide candidate referrals
  • Manage the pool of franchise inquiries
  • Present offering circulars, present the offer, discuss the business and evaluate the candidates
  • Collect initial franchise fees, close the sale, utilizing the process move the candidate through all stakeholders for approval
  • Work with key partners in Financial Memorandum (FM) process to evaluate candidates for franchise opportunity in FM growth markets
  • Represent the company at speaking engagements that promote the recruitment of minority business persons as franchising candidates
  • Achieve recruitment targets for the given year
  • Working with various business groups to separate bona fide candidates looking for a full time effort toward the BP and ampm franchise business they are looking to own vs. passive investors
  • Being adaptable to changing business needs - dealing with demands to coach, influence and negotiate with Franchisees

Essential Education
Bachelor's degree or Minimum 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience required

Essential experience and job requirements
  • 5+ years experience in a Field Based Retail Management role, such as a Franchise Business Consultant exp.
  • Performance driven, with a passion for driving consistent Retailing excellence.

Other Requirements (e.g. Travel, Location)
  • Understanding key motivational drivers of Franchisees
  • A high level of self-awareness of your own communication and leadership styles and using a range of styles to achieve positive outcomes
  • To use appropriate levers in a way that can positively influence behaviors for operational excellence
