To develop and support novel and new-to-Weatherford data analysis methods and workflows for the analysis of low-field NMR data focused on petrophysics applications development for a new-generation wireline logging measurement.
Primary responsibility will be to develop new algorithms and workflows for the analysis and interpretation of data from a new generation wireline NMR tool.
Manage NMR answer product development projects, originate project documentation, and support training and other aspects of commercialization for prototype and new petrophysical answer products.
Ability to acquire a detailed understanding of Weatherford's NMR tools and their measurements, and leverage this in advanced answer products.
Enhance existing NMR processing and analysis techniques to exploit the specific measurement attributes of the new NMR measurements.
As the NMR research go-to person you will use your inventor-level understanding of the methods and workflows used in the delivery of integrated petrophysical interpretations to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct and coordinate regular development project reviews for internal stakeholders.
Generate and present technical papers externally via technical conferences, symposia, and workshops.
Proactive in identifying research opportunities
Maintain professional standards of work and conduct at all time.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Must have a demonstrable and substantive track record the development of NMR answer products, and be recognized by your peers as an expert in the field.
Will have a demonstrable publications and presentations track record as evidence of your ability to advance the state of the art.
Expert-level familiarity with petrophysical principles is essential.
Familiarity with project management processes
Experience with MatLab or similar rapid development tools
Experience with one of the major petrophysics interpretation platforms is highly desirable.
Excellent inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently if necessary, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to lead technical resources, for example during evaluation and implementation
Ability to work diligently and in conformance to required processes
Ability to identify and exploit technical opportunities
Willingness to travel.
Minimum 10+ year related experience with University Degree in Geology, Geoscience, Geophysics
Experience will most likely have been obtained in an R&D environment.
Fluency in English
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
An advanced degree is preferred, MSc and PhD, in physics or relevant geoscience, with strong numeric and analytical skills
