Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:
    • Active participation in workshop safety & tool box meetings.
    • Active participation and contribution to workshop specific safety initiatives.
    • Report all hazards and unsafe acts.
    • Ensure third party compliance.
    • Actively promote positive safety culture.
  • Ensure all resources are fit for purpose.
    • Raise corrective actions for all non-conformances.
    • Comply with work instructions.
    • Identify areas requiring improvement and / or audit.
  • Will be responsible for the efficient management & tracking of the assets & inventory of the company through JDE system. Will provide accurate and timely information to all business unit managers on their assets & inventory in the country.
  • Will run the logistics functions(local transport, imports, exports) in the most efficient manner. Will develop internal policies and operating procedures on logistics management and review them periodically. Will have a close watch on all imports into India and ensure compliance with all local laws.
  • Manage the organization's IT infrastructure. (e.g Servers, Networks, Routers, Switches, PABX. Video conferencing), such as preventive maintenance, inventory and security.
  • Will continuously work on enhancing skills of the personnel working under through identifying right type of training needs and periodic mentoring, with assistance of HR/Training departments.
  • Will travel to all Bases, work locations , branch offices of Weatherford in India, as and when required.
  • Any other jobs, projects and assignments as and when advised by Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering degree. Additional qualification such as an MBA will be an advantage.
Years of Experience:
10 to 15 years of experience in an Oil Gas industry- of handled logistics/supply chain/procurement & inventory management
