We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Product Engineer within the Global Supply Chain Organization based in Newington, NH.

In this position, a Sourcing Product Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following
  • Provide support in the areas of project planning, reporting, issue resolution and on time equipment delivery including but not limited to supplier purchase order administration, purchase order payment milestones, vendor management and associated communications.
  • Cross functional role requiring the selected candidate to have the ability to communicate between all stakeholders.
  • Conduct supplier manufacturing capability and capacity analysis prior to issuing a purchase order when requested.
  • Provide production oversight after the Purchase Order has been established to ensure quality and schedule requirements are met.
  • Lead and/or participate in periodic meetings with planning and scheduling, project groups, Manufacturing internal and external  and management.
  • Work with engineering groups, manufacturing, suppliers, and sourcing to resolve manufacturing non-conformances
  • Work with  Manufacturing internal and external to review Quality Plans, witness and hold points with Engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure the technical and quality capabilities, and plans meet the Westinghouse contractual requirements

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
  • 2-6 years of related experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within Westinghouse and our partner firms, as well as with a supplier's upper management.
  •  Experience and knowledge of Westinghouse project management and commercial processes including project planning, reporting, metrics, scheduling, cost and risk.
