The Marketing Manager demonstrates accountability for the marketing intelligence of the assigned product segments offering to drive product line share gains and profitability, and for the marcom activities to promote the businesses. In this role you will be involved in long-term product marketing plan, and contribute to the overall product marketing strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

• Market analysis on market dynamic, customer needs, voice of customer(VOC), regulatory/policy, competition move, deliver regular market newsletter and facilitate internal & external communication.
• Manage the Installed Base tools, update on regular basis.
• Develop marketing plans & strategies, organize marcom activities/events including customer day/symposium/seminar/workshop etc.
• Attend industrial seminar/conference to understand trend and promote GE products Major opportunity screen-out and strategic marketing, visit customer and support sales for early engagement on technical discussion.
• Assist on commercial package development.
• Assist market study on specific segment. Create customer value proposition with supporting case studies, as appropriate develop product offerings to enhance the product sale-ability.
• Support TAS/SAS for the segment, which is the basis for OP and BP review.
• Collect data on oOEM fleet, do the screening for the units with potential issues and technical solutions, advise commercial team the target customers and Units as a starting point.
• Understand the product marketplace; know the competition and the product strengths and weaknesses to help define the multi- generational product plan (MGPP).
• Work with product marketing managers to establish regional strategies for the client base.
• Focus around product growth through product improvements and market expansion.


• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy industry
• Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to lead by influence, strong technical background with a broad business and leadership acumen
• Exceptional communication, presentation and team building skills
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, analysis and planning skills

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor's in Business Administration or related discipline
• Domain expertise in Marketing function, products like Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, Boiler or related fields
• Familiarity with local regulations, competing technologies and customer alternatives
• Solid process and program management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams from various businesses / functions
• Strong communication skills and confidence with executive presentations with the ability to communicate with colleagues and customers at all levels
• Good commercial mind-set
• Strong planning, organizing and priority setting skills
