The Project Contract Manager shall ensure the successful execution of the EPC & EPCM contracts according to agreed commercial obligations, financial and qualitative targets in coordination with the other functions. The Project Contract Manager under the direction of the Project Director / Project Manager has overall responsibility for all project (or project portfolio) contractual and commercial activities.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Project Contract Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for all project contractual and commercial activities from hand over from sales until all relevant contractual obligations are complete and all relevant contractual issues are resolved / settled
  • Identify, analyze and manage the project risks and opportunities
  • Be responsible for the preservation of GE's rights and entitlements as provided in the contract
  • Ensure proper notices are given in line with contract requirements
  • Manage claims to / from customers and consortium partners
  • Support the management of claims to / from contractors and suppliers as required
  • Ensure appropriate recovery from third parties
  • Manage customer variation requests / orders
  • Manage Project Insurances: submission, monitoring and settlement of insurance claims in accordance with the policies
  • Establish and implement project specific contractual procedures, particularly regarding claims, performance guarantees, insurance, variation orders, correspondence and notifications
  • Manage commercial and contractual impacts and claims resulting from time, quality, or process related issues (extension of time, acceleration, deficient contract documents etc.)
  • Undertake any other contractual / commercial tasks as instructed / requested by Project Director and / or management


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or Construction Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years in similar role in EPC & EPCM and/or complex construction environment including a minimum 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) terms

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
