In the position of Wind Service Coordinator you will become responsible for for the resource planning and dispatching of the Irish Wind Field Services Team. Coordinating customer needs around available resource, ensuring project work is able to be fulfilled, and liaising with the Major Projects Team, you will be the centre of activity for the OnShore Wind Division. Reporting directly to the Area Operations Leader for Ireland, you will work together to enable the success of the team.

Essential Responsibilities

You are responsible for managing and optimizing resources and their allocation including, personnel, tools, and parts. Overseeing the team's adherence to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, the technical support and documentation needed on for all projects, and the planning of work to ensure efficient operations you will have oversight on all projects going on for the team. You will also be responsible for reviewing the performance of labour resources specifically in the areas of quality, cost and productivity. Regular tasks will include:
• Resource planning and daily dispatching of labour to fulfill work orders, including the use GE Oracle system to provide work: task creation, dispatches and debrief approval
• Support approval of Field Technician's time cards and service requests as required
• Coordination and transfer of all operational tasks of the area including EHS & quality with respect to audits and documentation
• Facilitate the availability and dispatch of parts and tools for both general operations and maintenance and major operations, including tools calibration, orders and returns
• Assist the Project Manager to coordinate crane hire and additional specialist or support staff for major operations
• Ensure external service providers & suppliers comply with training standards required for the Irish Area
• Develop and implement measures to reduce costs and to increase productivity
• Assist with technical issues, escalation and follow up through engineering clarify cases as required
• Provide technical support for commercial offers, working with GE's Sales & Commercial teams
• Communicate with customers as required and build customer facing work plans on a regular basis
• Deputize the Area Operations Leader in his absence


• Previous demonstrated experience in planning works, labour dispatching, or leading a team
• Able to travel inland and abroad on an ad hoc basis
• Excellent speaker in English
• Full driver's license
