Do you have experience with different working assignment within a PMO? Then you might be our new IT Portfolio Delivery Coordinator to achieve Vestas' ambition of increasing the business value of our IT programmes and projects.

Global IT is responsible for IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S, and with reference to the Group CFO, Global IT covers all areas from IT strategy, business engagement and requirements capturing to project implementations, infrastructure operations, service integration between vendors, and end user support.

Strategy, Governance & Portfolios is a new function in Global IT, supporting the CIO in leading, developing and controlling Vestas' IT strategy, IT Financials, and IT portfolio and project execution. The function is a central and important part of Global IT. Reporting to the Head of IT Portfolio & Project Office you will be responsible for portfolio coordination in collaboration with IT Offering Owners and Business IT Partners in each of the four verticals in Global IT. The verticals are responsible for delivering our projects and offerings to the Vestas business.

The overall responsibilities of your area will be to:
  • Deliver profound guidance and support to IT Offering Owners and Business IT Partners in close cooperation with the Portfolio Manager and Resource Manager.
  • Guide and support Business IT Partners and their teams in using the relevant portfolio, project and resource management tools (act as Super User and first line support for the teams).
  • Assist in preparation of monthly reporting together with Portfolio Manager and Business IT Partners.
  • Assist in preparation of material for quarterly executive IT Value Councils together with Portfolio Manager and Business IT Partners.
  • Coordinate reporting with IT Financials & Performance Management team and support implementation of tools and processes.
  • Support Project Managers and Business IT Partners in delivering projects on time, scope and cost by for instance securing that projects are measured in such a way that earned value and estimate to complete is in alignment with approved budget.

Qualifications and work experience:
  • 2-5 years in the area of Project Management / PMO / Portfolio Execution.
  • Experience from international organizations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • English language at negotiation level - oral and written.
  • Academic degree within Economics & Business Administration, Computer Science or similar.
