We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Consultant in our Operating Plant Services organization located at our Madison, PA site.  The group has approximately 550 employees excluding contractors.  The HR Consultant will report functionally to the HR Manager, located at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA location. 

The HR Consultant can expect to be responsible for the following: 
  •   Provide policy and/or labor contract interpretations to management and employees and advise appropriate course of action.
  • Participate in development, implementation and administration of H.R. policies that facilitate desired organizational plans and results.
  • Support employee relations with management and employees by actively participating in identification and resolution of issues.
  • Participate in development of innovative Human Resource processes which promote communication, collaboration and teamwork.
  • Advise management on internal and external exempt and non-exempt staffing processes and ensure timely in and out placement consistent with business operations & EEO goals.
  • Maintain visibility with workforce acting as liaison with management and employees.
  • Engage and lead HR strategic projects that support the Right to grow strategies within in the overall Operating Plant Business.
  • Lead Human Capital Planning processes such as critical skills assessments, business and technical leader nine-box, succession planning, attrition risk and key talent retention
  • Lead Performance Management and salary planning calibrations aligned with our "Raising the Bar" philosophy.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following: 
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field or Human Resources required.
  • 3 years' experience required 4 to 5 years' experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong preference for an HR Generalist who has compensation experience
  • Demonstrated analytical capability through project work or previous work experience
