This position is for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager for the non-nuclear product line within Westinghouse's WECTEC LLC.  Responsible for the development and growth of the new business for the non-nuclear product line of WECTEC, LLC.  Work with WECTEC, LLC's key executive management team to establish new business goals, solidify client relationships, develop tier one clients, determine and prepare resources, and execute the capture of new projects, primarily within the power industry.
  • Direct selling and influencing role that will lead to bidding and winning business.
  • Extensive travel to potential customer's sites to pursue business relationships, bid opportunities.
  • Works with corporate marketing group to develop positioning documentation, brochures, and marketing material, etc.
  • Responsible for input in Group and Divisional Business Plan and Forecasting.
  • Develop, present, and execute winning strategies for new and follow-on contract bids, be responsible for the overall development of technical, management and business price plans, execute all the steps relating to the business development life cycle, support the development and execution of calling plans, coordinate the internal corporate support requirement between Contract and the Proposal group, Pricing, Purchasing and Engineering.
  • Will mentor and coach operational personnel as required, serve as a reviewer and conduct initial assessment for all pipeline opportunities, support the pre-sales activities, B&P planning, management and control, and support the coordination of all phases of proposal development and post-submission activities.

Job Requirements
  • Must have existing, key relationships in the power industry including leadership within large utilities, OEMs, and key associations.
  • Must be able to gain access and influence within these circles to the benefit of the new non-nuclear product line within WECTEC, LLS.
  • More than 10 years experience in operations, marketing and business development in the power industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the engineering, maintenance and construction services of power plants.
  • Familiar with the use the Microsoft Office suite, planning and estimating projects.
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree, technical field preferred.
