Controls & Generators > PEX Test > Hardware & Automation
Test & Simulation is responsible for the development of production test systems for Vestas. The department develops test systems for all aspects of the turbine for example electrical switchboards, converters, generators, nacelles etc. For this position we seek an Electrical Engineer or Marine Engineer with knowledge to Industrial Automation.

You will be part of a team developing test systems for Vestas. You will have the responsibility for the automation part, making sure that the user interface and the test program is developed. You will be involved in all phases of our projects, and you will also be the one doing the final commissioning of our system at the factories.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Development of test programs - You will of course have an extensive introduction to our programming tool
  • Ensure that our test equipment executes the tests safely by complying to internal and external standards
  • Develop and improve processes and standards for developing test equipment.
  • Commissioning of test equipment at our factories world wide

Furthermore, you will be contributing to:

  • Providing on-site education of the end users of our equipment
  • Ensuring that the equipment is handed over to the costumer according to our processes.
  • Ensuring documentation and Quality assurance of the test equipment

You are educated as an Electrical Engineer or a Marine engineer. You can either be newly educated or have some years of experience.


  • You have knowledge to PLC systems and HMI systems
  • You are experienced in hands-on as well as theoretical work with electrical systems
  • You are able to read electrical schematics as well as electrical documentation
  • You are well familiar with trouble shooting on electrical system
Also, knowledge of hydraulic systems will be an advantage.

  • You can work on your own, but at the same time you are a team player, able to work cross functional and across different cultures.
  • A person who thrives with changes
  • Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.

Additional information
Primary work location will be in Hammel, but work on our other locations in DK must be expected in shorter periods. Depending on your projects, 20 - 40 days of travel activity must be expected.
