Westinghouse Electric Company, Nuclear Fuel, is seeking a Site Support Technician in its Information Systems group at the Specialty Metals Plant (SMP) located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. The employees of SMP manufacture zirconium-alloy tubing products used in nuclear fuel assemblies for Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel, our licensees, and other customers worldwide. At our facility, we use state-of-the-art manufacturing and inspection systems to meet the exacting standards and demanding tolerances required by our customers.

In this position, a successful candidate will:
•Assist in the design and implementation of major information technology projects, determining system requirements and priorities
•Provide site support in the office, manufacturing, and local datacenter environments, including application, desktop, server, network storage, and database
•Deploy and replace Windows-based computers
•Analyze and correct issues with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
•Assist with IT system startup and shutdown for all manufacturing facility outages
•Monitor VMWare server cluster
•Support virtual server builds, updates, and expansions
•Support mobile devices and telecommunication systems
•Support local Microsoft SCCM environment
•Requisition IT supplies/equipment in Ariba
•Assist with cost center and capital budget development
•Assist with submittal of TACE project requests
•Be available to support plant operations 24x7 as needed.
Job Requirements
Four year college degree in an IT related discipline.
Proficiency in .NET Framework and PowerShell scripting
Experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server database application support

 2 years related experience
