We currently have an exciting opportunity for the Global IT Help Desk team in our WECTEC business line.
The Global Support Specialist will be responsible for the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, analysis, and repairing of computer systems, computer peripherals, servers, backup systems, and infrastructure equipment.  The will also be responsible for handling incoming calls regularly and respond to help desk tickets quickly.  This person will provide end user support for the entire WECTEC organization.

•Install and upgrade company standard software applications
•Utilize help software to document and status daily work assignments
•Assist in providing technical support for home office and several remote offices within region
•Provide technical support to home office and several remote offices within your region.
•Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
•Relies on experience and judgment to perform the functions of the job.
•Works under general supervision.
Job Requirements

•Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
•0-3 years of IT experience required
•Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others
•Works independently with minimal guidance
•Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
•Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area
