Position Summary

The Environmental Risk Assessor (ERA) is responsible for preparing CERCLA Human Health Risk Assessment and Ecological Risk Assessment work plans and reports. The ERA will work under the direction of a Project Manager and interact with external clients, regulators, and other project stakeholders.

  • Interact with project managers and subcontractors as well as project controls, administrative and safety staff

  • A BS or MS degree in Toxicology, Biology or related scientific field required
  • 4+ years of CERCLA human health and ecological risk assessment experience required
  • Experience with CERCLA HTRW Remedial Investigations (RI) and have strong knowledge of RAGS, and applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance required
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and client relations skills required
  • US Army Corps of Engineers or AFCEC experience is preferred
  • Experience authoring other CERCLA documents such as RI Work Plans and Reports, Feasibility Studies, Proposed Plans, and Records of Decision preferred
