As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will maintain responsibility for recruiting and pipeline development for Van Dyke's prime- and sub-contracts across their business unit. You will be part of a small team of energized and collaborative recruiting professionals working together to take Van Dyke's growth to the next level.

As the Van Dyke Technology Group Senior Techncial Recruiter, a typical day might include the following:

Full, life-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical positions ranging from cyber security professionals, software engineers, IT professionals and intelligence analysts

Partner with Hiring Managers, Human Resources and Leadership to develop and execute staffing strategies

Source and recruit of candidates in various markets (Intel, Defense, Federal, Commercial)

Source and work with candidates with high-level clearances

Develop and maintain social and new media strategies for attracting candidates

Develop and support branding efforts to appeal to and attract exceptional talent

Recruit for a variety of technical positions

Strategically advise hiring managers on best practices and develop collaborative solutions for identifying and hiring talented professionals

Establish and maintain a pipeline of viable candidates for Van Dyke; develop a deep understanding of the company's core competencies and develop strategies to proactively recruit for positions

May involve long periods of sitting

Work Environment:

An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)

Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients

Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills

Equipment and Machines:

Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation


Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines

Regular attendance is necessary and required

Other Essential Functions:

Must be able to communicate effectively

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with clients, management and employees

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others

Must be able to support and work in a proactive team environment

Must hold the safety of yourself and those around you as the number one priority in the workplace

Completion of required certifications required within six (6) months of hire date

Years of Experience: 8-10

Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, life-cycle recruiting environment. Corporate recruiting experience for companies with similar customers/scope preferred

Creative and proactive sourcing experience

Ability and desire to work collaboratively as part of a talented team of professionals

Strong understanding of the security clearance process for U.S. Intelligence Agencies

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

In-depth experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (TALEO experience is a huge bonus)

Experience with recruiting via social media highly desired

Experienced in recruiting in a highly technical environment and the ability to understand and interpret technical personnel requirements highly desired

Experience conducting behavioral interviewing of candidates highly desired

Advanced understanding of OFCCP regulations desired
