We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IV&V Engineer in our Automation Product Line. The general responsibilities include:

  • Perform software Verification and Validation
    • Code Review
    • Static Analysis
  • Perform design analysis and evaluations of compliance to software, system and functional requirement specifications (requirements traceability analysis)
    • Requirements Traceability Assessment (RTA)
  • Assist with testing activities
    • Prepare test specifications and test procedures
    • Analyze test results and prepare test reports
      • Processor Module Software Testing (PMST)
      • Element Software Testing (EST)
      • Reusable Software Element Testing (RSED)
  • Identify opportunities and assist in process improvement effort

Job Requirements
A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:
  • C language and embedded software working experience is required
  • Programming experience is required
  • Understanding of version control and  configuration management concept is required
  • Understanding of Verification & Validation and Software Quality Assurance processes is preferred 
  • Use of requirement traceability tools (DOORS) is preferred 
  • I&C Design/test experience is preferred
  • PWR and/or BWR I&C systems knowledge is preferred
  • Use of Microsoft Office tools, including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Typically 0-2 years of experience
