As the Strategic Planning Analyst, you will be part of a Strategic Planning team whose primary function is to inject robust strategic thinking within decision making and planning across all levels of GE Power.

Essential Responsibilities

Together with the Principal Strategist, as the Strategic Planning Analyst, you will work collaboratively with other teams within GE Power HQ marketing, P&L and regional marketing teams, and product managers to challenge status quo planning, help expand assessment of risks and opportunities, and encourage deeper horizon scanning.
As the Strategic Planning Analyst, you will help drive strategic thinking at senior leadership level by contributing to scenario analyses, and undertaking analyses for the "Time to Think" program, and generally being a force for constructive debate.
As a member of the Strategic Planning team, the Strategic Planning Analyst will:
• Keep abreast of emerging trends in the Power and Energy sector, as well as in the economy at large
• Illuminate broad strategic risks and opportunities to GE Power senior staff. Among other things, this would include analytic work and pitch prep and coordination for "Time to Think" sessions, quarterly Blueprints and Strategic Roadmap, and ad-hoc deliverables
• Conduct research for white papers or presentations for external audiences in order to amplify GE messages and thought leadership on a variety of issues


• Bachelor's Degree in economics, policy, engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of marketing and analytics experience within energy industry

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
