The Fulfillment Sourcing Engineer is responsible for supporting Sourcing team and the Quality team in defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will learning and apply how to expedite and contract manage Purchase Orders with additional focus on Quality related documents. You will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities

Under guidance & supervision of Lead Sourcing Specialist , your role will be: - Monitor the vendors performance (expediting) in exectuing the contracted scope of work
- Support Quality team in monitoring inspections dates and collecting vendor documentation.
- Effective communication with suppliers, as well as GE team (mainly Sourcing buyers, Sourcing manger, occasionally Project Managers, Project Engineers, Logistics) to ensure On-time and Quality supplier Delivery;
- Support continuous improvement of standard tools (i.e. procedures, work instructions, check list, etc)

On the selected projects you will coordinate project quality related activities, including:
- Expediting Suppliers to respect delivery plan and inspection programs when requested;
- Collect Vendor documentation e.g. Logistic and Quality documentation,
- Propose project lesson learned and improvement ideas;

- Bachelor's degree; Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer- Fluency in English (Spoken & Written);
- Student status during employment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent PC skills (MS project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
- Proactive;
- Quick issue tracker;
- Strong interpersonal skills, effectiev communication with suppliers and internal customers;
- Self-starter;

Desired Characteristics

- Third European language (Italian, , Russian, Spanish, French)- Project management and problem solving skills are really required
- Be able to communicate the progress, status and issues of a project to the business leaders.
- Good understanding of suppliers' manufacturing and construction schedules
- Be able to work well in a global and cross functional team environment;
